Ника: У Филипп дю Плесси де Бельер, был реальный прототип Анн Голон в одном из своих интервью говорила, что когда была в Версале, впервые , то увидела там портрет мужчины, in the Salon d'Apollon in Versailles , и портрет этого молодого мужчины, послужил внешним прототипом Филлипа, Анн Голон призналась в одном из своих интервью, мне прислали эти интервью, но они не открылись, с ошибкой загружаются, но я попрошу что бы мне их заново выслали, и еще мне обещали прислать этот самый портрет.

Но я так и не поняла причинно-следственную связь: фреска побудила создать Голон такого персонажа как Филипп или она уже придумав Филиппа, решила дать ему внешность с фрески. Хотя, наверное, это не так важно. Меня интересует другое: если не ошибаюсь, мифологические персонажи в 17 веке часто изображались на картинах с лицами известных людей (включая и короля:). Наверняка эта фреска рисовалась с натуры и у человека, на ней изображенного есть имя и фамилия:) Никто не слышал об этом? А может быть это просто неизвестный натурщик:))))))))

А фамилия Ришелье, кажется, связана с населенным пунктом, который находился в 17 веке в провинции Пуату. Не знаю существует ли он сейчас. В принципе в 17 веке существовали и бароны Плесси-Бельер, но жили они крайне далеко от Пуату. Склероз не позволяет вспомнить где именно:)
Анжелика: пожалуйста поместите фотку на сайте или на форуме, мне бы хотелось взглянуть на красавчика я его всегда представляю как в фильме все же... только в книге он более жестокий... бедный Филипп, ты так сильно любил короля
катрин: Не знаю, почему, но мне часто нравятся "отрицательные" персоонажи в произведениях и фильмах.Филипп - не исключение.Особенно интересно смотреть на его любовь к Анжелике.Было бы круто, если бы его фото появилось на этом сайте!!!

Мне просто запало в голову, что Гонтран изобразил Филиппа именно в салоне Марса. Наверное, события третьего и пятого тома склеились в голове:))) Надо бы поискать роспись салона Марса и выяснить что там нарисовано.

Adkins о Филиппе дю Плесси http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FriendsofAngelique/ I'll add the following short essay I wrote years ago to the Philippe discussion, as he is one of my personal favorite characters in the series. To me the stormy relationship between AngИlique and her second husband is one of the most interesting parts of the saga. To watch the two of them warring back and forth until it was clear to both of them that, despite all, they loved each other very much was a fascinating story all its own. I was, even despite my wish that Joffrey had not been "executed," very sad to see Philippe killed off just at the point that his love had blossomed so obviously that he could no longer deny it. I thought an interesting insight into Philippe was made by one of AngИlique's friends (Ninon de Lenclos) when AngИlique began to consider him a marriage prospect. She said (and I paraphrase, since I don't have the book in front of me) that once one got to know him he wasn't as nice as he appeared. But once one got to know him better, he was nicer than he appeared. He was the ultimate courtier who was obsessed with trivial matters of protocol, and his devotion to the King was paramount. Philippe was a sheep in wolf's clothing. He was a boy wanting to be loved by a memory of a young girl he once called "the Baroness of the Doleful Dress" but who he thought no longer existed. That young girl had now become, or so he thought, a grasping, back-stabbing courtesan who blackmailed him into marriage in order to further her own ambitions. To this new woman he showed the face of the wolf - an uncompromising brute who would destroy her utterly. Of course, what he didn't know was that the young girl he remembered was still there deep down desiring his love as much as he did hers. This was AngИlique's secret strength and kept her in the battle where others would have long since felt it was a lost cause. She was willing to do whatever it would take to find again the handsome, young marquis - the ideal whom she had secretly loved from her youth. For every setback in their personal war, she returned a victory. Finally, the relationship culminated in what I feel was one of the most beautiful scenes in the series - when Philippe returned from the battle front partly to console AngИlique for the loss of her son Cantor, for whom he must have felt some responsibility, since he talked AngИlique into letting the boy go to sea. He was the only one who understood what Cantor's loss meant to her. Beyond that, though, he came to present AngИlique with the amulet of the Du Plessis-Belliere women. With that, according to the terms of a bet they had made about the outcome of their personal conflict, Philippe acknowledged AngИlique the winner of the war. Despite his warrior background, he found a most poetic way to profess his love for her.
Olga: Мнение pesik2000 о Филиппе http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FriendsofAngelique/ Philippe is one of my most favourite characters in the whole series. In fact I like him much more than Joffrey. I guess because Joffrey is stronger, self-sustaining, independent character and I often feel that he doesn't need Angelique, he would do just fine without her in his life. Philippe is different - he's lonely, trapped in norms and expectations of high society as well as women's expectations in regards to his skills as a lover as a result of his physical attractiveness. He was sexually abused as a teenager and it hunts him down. He's been loving A. since they first met. He's a very brave courageous man. And he's strong too but in a different way than Joffrey - his strength is deconstructive to himself as it's used to guard himself from the world and the pain that it brings whereas Joffrey's strength is constructive. A. made him suffer as well - she broke the image of her that he had held dear for many years, she cheated on him...Yes, he's done terrible things to A. which makes him even unhappier. It takes him a long time and many mistakes to let his guard down and open himself up to A. and their love - but then he dies. That's who Philippe is for me. His death was a shock to me... and maybe still is... I wish A. remembered him more often. He had a tough life so give him a break! I wonder whether it's a woman's eternal desire to pity and take care of an unhappy persona that makes me love him so much. I also think that it was more difficult for Anne to create Phillipe's character than Joffrey's because he has so many sides (often contradicting) to him that we uncover with every page, whereas Joffrey doesn't change much. Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinion... Would be interesting to know more opinions on Philippe's character!
